Electric Vacuum Pump

The Electric Vacuum Pump offers a simplistic solution when compressed air is unavailable, replacing the standard compressed air system and allowing you to create a vacuum for package seal integrity testing.

Our Leak Detectors are standardly equipped with a compressed air powered vacuum generator, which means you’ll need to supply compressed air. Alternatively, if you have power outlets available, the Electric Vacuum Pump option will get you testing packages without delay.

FAQ's

What do I need to run my FlexPak Leak Detector?

Standard units do not have power requirements, but do require access to compressed air services (see spec. sheet). EVP units require a 120V/240V power supply. All units require a water source for filling the tank, and a means to drain liquid from the Leak Detector after testing. A dedicated water line is not required, as the tank can be filled and drained manually.

The model names specify the inside dimensions of the Leak Detector. For example – the FP181210 model has interior dimensions of 18” (width) x 12” (depth) x 10” (height).
We currently do not offer in-house testing services. For specific product questions please reach out to the FlexPak team.
Lead times vary depending on the Leak Detector model. Typically, table-top units are in stock and ready to ship, while floor-stand/add-on units have a minimum lead time of one week.

Any flexible package, rigid trays, rigid containers, vacuum-sealed packages, and liquid-filled packages (add-ons required). For specific product questions please inquire.
