Vacuum Chamber • Bubble Emission • ASTM D3078
Submerge the package, pull a vacuum, and the leak bubbles up right where the seal is failing, in 30 seconds.
Made in Canada, No Tariffs for U.S. Buyers.
ASTM D3078
D6653 (with FPFA)
F2096 (with FPIPA)
Three of seven sizes, shown to approximate scale

Simple enough for any line operator to run, no engineer required.
Place the sealed package in the water-filled chamber and close the lid.
The vacuum pulls the air out of the chamber. Your package expands, stressing every seal.
A failing seal releases a steady stream of bubbles, showing you exactly where it’s failing.

Every add-on solves one specific problem. Not sure what you need? We’ll walk you through it on a call.
No compressed air? No problem. Runs from any outlet. Quieter, and fully portable.
Required for vacuum-sealed or low-headspace packaging. Injects a controlled burst of air before vacuum is applied, so seals are properly tested.
Two preset tests at the click of a button. Automatically controls both target pressure and hold time. Creates consistency in testing.
Program up to 24 test profiles. Automatically exports Pass/Fail results to Excel after every test.
ASTM F2096 testing for porous and sterile-barrier medical packaging.
Most vendors price the chamber and start the meter on support. We don’t.
Three things matter most:
Same-day pickup, a direct line to the people who built your unit. Unlimited expert calls, free for life, no support contract.
Built in Ontario, shipped DDP under CUSMA. No tariff exposure on units, your landed price is final.
Stainless steel and acrylic throughout. No brass, no porous plastics, no grooves for mold or residue to hide.

Match the chamber to your largest package; each model lists a max package size. Between two models? Size up, the larger chamber still tests the smaller pack and leaves room to grow. Not sure? Send us your dimensions and we’ll recommend one.
Every base model runs on standard compressed air. The EVP is for facilities without an air line, or labs that want a quieter, portable unit that runs from any outlet. Have compressed air available? You don’t need it.
Yes, with the VAC Attachment. The FlexPak Leak Detector works by expanding the air/gas in packages so that packages inflate and seals are stressed. If a package does not have air/gas inside, the VAC Attachment will add a controlled shot of air into the package so it can be properly tested. Adding air involves puncturing the package, so this test is destructive, but necessary.
Yes. Every unit ships calibrated, with a visual manual. Free virtual training and onboarding, and live video with our experts all available by request. No installer fees or complex setup. Most customers are testing the day the equipment arrives.
Normally 2-3 weeks, though this varies with larger units.
Yes. Made in St. Catharines, Ontario and shipped to the US DDP under CUSMA. FlexPak covers any tariff cost, your landed price is your final price.
Yes. Reach out to us first as we will likely already know if your package will work prior to sending. Then mail us your package, sealed, gas-flushed, vacuum-sealed, anything. We run a leak test and send you the results.
The FlexPak vacuum chamber is a bubble-emission package leak tester and seal integrity tester in one. It pulls a vacuum so a failing seal releases a visible bubble stream, showing you exactly where the seal fails, to ASTM D3078.
ASTM standards we support
Leak testing equipment built around three ASTM methods:
ASTM D3078
Bubble emission, the core method. Every chamber runs it out of the box.
ASTM F2096
Internal pressurization for porous and sterile-barrier medical packaging. Needs the FPIPA add-on.
ASTM D6653
Altitude simulation, supported by the FPFA-T. It conditions the package; detection is still done by bubble emission.
No mystery quotes, no pressure, no support contracts in the fine print.
Dimensions, atmosphere (MAP, N₂, or vacuum), throughput. We'll recommend a configuration in plain English.
Most quotes go out the day the call ends. Lead time, freight, and add-ons clearly priced.
Ships calibrated and ready. Free virtual onboarding, lifetime expert support behind your team.
